After an epic 2017 event, the legend of the Mammoth Enduro returns, this time as a single day, multi-stage enduro race that will be a true test of skill and fitness. Get your training programme into gear and get ready for a double uplift, 8+ stages, all trails grades 4+, and 2500+ descending.

$4000 worth of prizes and $1000 in cash make this an event not to miss!

We're picking the cream of Nelson's grade 4/5 tech trails - some old favourites and some new trails.

Two uplifts, and the rest will be pedaled. The reward... knowing you could and did, testing yourself against the best and having a tonne of fun. Event hub will be at Maitai Golf Course on Maitai Valley Road, Nelson

Entry Details

ENTRIES OPENING 14 SEPTEMBER 2018 - keep an eye out on the Facebook page.

Cost: $95 per rider with 120 entry limit.

Age Limit: Minimum age of 16 years as at 31 December 2018.

EWS Qualifier: To claim EWS Qualifier Series Ranking points from this event, you must have an EMBA number. To join EMBA, click here

Refund Policy: Withdrawals received before Friday 20th October will be refunded, less a $15 administration fee. There will be no refunds after 20th October.

Transfer of entry

You are able to transfer your entry to another participant up until 4 November 2018. Please email info@nelsonmtb.club to arrange this. There is a $20 transfer fee.
If you would like to change to a different category then please email us on info@nelsonmtb.club to arrange this. You are able to change category until 4 November 2018.

Event Cancellation

The race will run rain or shine and the tracks can be altered in the unlikely event of extreme weather. In the incredibly unlikely event of having to cancel the race, no refund will be provided

Trails: To be released just before the event - most have been ridden before, but some have never been raced on.

As an epic multi stage Enduro race and EWS qualifier, the Mammoth is going to sort out who is New Zealand's best mountain biker on the cream of Nelsons grade 5 trails.
